Anna Tsuchiya- Cocoon

[Download]

I must admit, the A-side track, "Cocoon" isn't my fancy. I just don't like it. It's probably one of those songs that will have to grow on me, but as of now--it's a no go. HOWEVER--the B-sides rock out loud. "U" is a quirky swinging rock number that just makes you want to jump around your room and roll on the ground. The last track, "Guys" is a coy little love song that SO matches Anna's daring attitude. All together--this is a really good single but I think it might've been better if "U" was the a-side track.

ERIKA- Destination Nowhere [single]

02. ESCAPE
03. FREE (overrocket101007 remix)
04. Destination Nowhere (instrumental)

Not nearly as endearing as her first single, but Destination Nowhere delivers in a different way. Remember to RIGHT CLICK AND SAVE AS to download.

Rock 'A' Trench- Heat Island [MP3]

[4 min. 20 sec. II Download]

The sucky thing about new bands that aren't yet so popular is that it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get your hands on their music because no one buys it and makes an effort to make it available online. *sighs* So unfortunately, I can only offer the "Heat Island" theme song from the single, ripped from the PV.   Mika Nakashima- Eien no Uta [single]

[Download]

01. Eien no Uta
02. YOU'D BE SO NICE TO COME HOME TO
03. Eien no Uta (instrumental)

Mika Nakashima is easily becoming one of my new favorite Jpop stars for her unique voice and awesome sense of style. Eien no Uta is a beautiful reggae infused jazz number that matches the Okinawa setting of SOUTHBOUND, perfectly. Remember to RIGHT CLICK AND SAVE AS to download.

Kou Shibasaki- Prism [single]

[Download]

01. Prism
02. Polka Dot
03. Sukoshidzutsu
04. Prism (instrumental)

Kou Shibasaki's beautiful and simple voice flows throughout this entire single and easily captures to whimsical romance behind Sono Kare. Remember to RIGHT CLICK AND SAVE AS to download.

This is the single released by the Hip-Hop R&B group, SOULHEAD, in honor of Dear Friends!

Day After Tomorrow- Dear Friends/It's My Way [single]

[5 tracks II Download]

This single by the former band, Day After Tomorrow, is a cover song for Rina sung by Misono Koda for the Dear Friends novel. The lyrics were written jointly by Yoshi and Misono and debuted in 2003. The song is pretty sucky. The lyrics are beautiful but the beat and Misono's voice don't match them very well. Oh well, can't always have the cake and eat it too! It features 3 songs and 2 instrumentals for a grand total of five tracks. ^_^

Ikimono Gakari- Koisuru Otome [single]

[4 tracks II Download]

This single features the song Nirinka that is the theme song of the movie, Cherry Pie. I LOVE the lead singers voice!

Keiko as Rei Hino/ Sailor Mars- Sakura Fubuki [single]

[4 tracks II Download]

This is Sailor Mars' character song from the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon series. It was used in Act 20-something during Sailor Mar's awakening. Keiko sings this song pretty well. Not the best singer but she did an awesome job.
